Overview – Day by Day

Arrival

You will be collected from the airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 1 – Pick Up from the Airport & Transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide/driver. He will assist you with your luggage and give you a short safari briefing before transferring you to your booked hotel around Entebbe for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Day 2 – Rhino Tracking & Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, you will begin your journey to Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for white rhino tracking.

After the rhino experience, you will drive to Masindi town for lunch. The journey continues to Wanseko Fishing Village on Lake Albert, one of the deepest Rift Valley lakes in East Africa.

Later, transfer to your hotel inside Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 3 – Game Drive & Boat Cruise on the River Nile

Early morning breakfast (or packed breakfast during the drive).

Enjoy a morning game drive where you may see elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, herds of buffaloes and more. Return to the lodge for lunch.

At 1:30 pm, depart for a 3-hour boat cruise along a 17 km stretch of the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. Along the way you may see kingfishers, African fish eagles, bee-eaters, Nile crocodiles, hippos and elephants.

Return to the lodge for overnight stay.

Day 4 – Transfer to Kibale National Park

You will leave Murchison Falls National Park early in the morning as the journey to Kibale is long. After breakfast, drive southwest through the Albertine region towards Kibale Forest.

Main Destination: Kibale National Park (Chimpanzees)

Day 5 – Chimpanzee Tracking & Cultural Walk

After early breakfast, transfer to the park offices for briefing.

Proceed to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for a 2–4 hour chimpanzee trekking experience. Along the way you may also see other primates.

In the afternoon, enjoy a cultural or community walk.

Day 6 – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Evening Game Drive

After breakfast, check out and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and have lunch.

Later, enjoy an evening game drive to view grazing wildlife.

Day 7 – Morning Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Early breakfast followed by a morning game drive when animals are most active.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for hippos, crocodiles and birdlife.

Main Destination: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 8 – Transfer to Bwindi (via Ishasha Sector)

After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Drive through the Ishasha Sector for a chance to see the famous tree-climbing lions.

Continue to Ruhija sector, where gorilla tracking will take place.

Day 9 – Gorilla Tracking & Batwa Community Visit

After early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla tracking rules.

Begin your unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. After tracking, return for lunch and rest.

Later, visit the Batwa community.

Day 10 – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi & Canoe Ride

After breakfast, drive 3–4 hours to Lake Bunyonyi.

Check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a canoe ride on Uganda’s deepest lake.

Day 11 – Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, drive approximately 2 hours to Lake Mburo National Park.

After lunch, optional activities include biking or horse riding within the park.

Day 12 – Morning Nature Walk / Game Walk

After breakfast, enjoy a guided morning game walk for close encounters with wildlife such as zebras and giraffes.

Return for lunch. In the evening, another guided nature walk with an armed ranger for safety.

Day 13 – Transfer Back to Kampala / Entebbe

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Kampala or Entebbe.
